The result
A 500-word piece demystifying one of the most complex areas of physics for Vice readers. I included analogies and popular culture references to enliven the piece and make it easy to understand. I also used tangible examples of how this technology could change our world as much as possible to take it from theory to reality.
I had to gain a sound understanding of quantum computing to satisfy this brief, and then make sure I was communicating these concepts in a lively and useful way to others.
